Working in handmade papers offers the wonderful possibility of working in texture as well as design and color. Design inspirations such as florals, landscapes and water are transformed into realistic or abstract images by the use of textured or patterned papers.
Theme: EVERYTHING ROSES
2-D and 3D Applications
The four- hour class demonstrates:
Use of color – Choosing pleasing combinations
Design- Simple Composition, Rule of Thirds
Instruction- Basic skills in the application and layering of papers
ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED

Water Scenes Collage Mini-workshop
Paper Collage Workshops
Anna Tewes is offering “theme based” one-day workshops in paper collage. Some of the themes are floral scenes, water scenes, trees, landscapes, and decorative lamps shades and vases.
Anna uses handmade papers in the creation of her pictures and supplies all the papers and pastes for her workshops. There are many international papers available today. The papers are made mostly from plant fibers such as silk, tobacco, mango, banana fibers, and rice starches. Other surfaced designed papers have been developed such as block printed and marbled or paste papers.
Anna’s classes are $50. For a three -hour workshop with all the materials provided. The next workshop is scheduled for:

$50 per class
Gallery member, Anna Tewes, will be offering beginning “one day workshops” in paper collage using international and hand textured papers. You will complete your own collage in the three hour class. All the unique international papers are provided. All you will need to bring are your favorite paper scissors and an 1″ brush. Cost $50. per class. Class size 5 min and 8 max.
Floral Sunday October 27, 1-4 pm
Create a paper collage using nature or a photo as your inspiration. You can place your flowers in a natural setting or in a little vase on a tablecloth. Anna has collected many papers over the years that she would love to share with you!
